The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), supported by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS), invites primary care clinicians and those with an interest in patient involvement to a half day event at the Lagan Valley Island Centre, Lisburn on 29 January 2009 at 1p.m.

This event will be hosted by the RCGP’s patient group, ‘Patients in Practice’ (PIP), and aims to provide GP practices with help and guidance on establishing patient groups. The highlights of the event will include:

• Presentations by a local GP and practice manager.

• Facilitated group discussion on assistance needed for GP practices to establish groups.

• Patient group representatives from RCGP UK.
