Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey today launched the Centre of Excellence for Public Health Research in Northern Ireland.
The body will be based at Queen’s University, Belfast, and is one of five such centres established across the UK.
Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey has set new standards for the treatment and care of people suffering and at risk from cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular disease is the class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels.
