The Office of the Chief Nursing Officer DHSSPS has issued Guidelines for maternity services liaison committees (MSLCs) for consultation.

These guidelines are intended to set out ways in which MSLCs can work effectively and to help contribute to improving maternity services in line with the needs and wishes of local women.

The three month consultation period ends on 10 October 2008.
