Authors are invited to submit abstracts for the forthcoming International Forum on Quality and Safety in Health Care, to be held in Berlin, Germany, on 17-20 March, 2009.

Submissions of either well-founded research into quality improvement or descriptions of experience of improving quality and/or patient safety that have a useful message or lessons from others are welcomed. Lessons that emerge from failure may be just as useful as those learned from success. Abstracts should include details of your change process, as that is what others can learn from.

Abstracts must be submitted using the online submission facility. Please note: abstracts submitted by email are unable to be accepted. The deadline for receipt of abstracts is 5pm on Friday, 26 September. Abstracts will be selected for either an oral presentation or a poster.
