Broughshane & District Community Association looks after all the social, economic and environmental community development in the Broughshane and Slemish electoral wards of Ballymena Borough Council area. We have 27 affiliated groups to the organisation that meet monthly (with the exception of the summer months). This has the affect of keeping all the groups informed of the community development in the area.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Broughshane village and its environs and to advance their economic, social, environmental, community development and educational welfare, without the distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or any other opinion, by association with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education. To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.
