Area of interest/expertise:
Neighbourhood renewal: community, economic, social and physical programme of funded projects addressing long term social and economic disadvantage. Three key health projects rolling out over 2007–2010 that focus on family health and wellbeing:
• extending SureStart to 5-11 year olds and their families in area;
• Safe and Well Homes (elderly and vulnerable);
• mental health support project.
Additional projects with health impact being planned.
