Organisation: East Local Commissioning Group

Description:
The East Local Commissioning Group (LCG) is one of seven LCGs established under the Review of Public Administration to commission health and social care for a local population, involving primary care professionals and engaging with local communities. Membership of the East LCG comprises GPs, a dentist, optometrist, pharmacist, lay representatives, and Health and Social Services Board public health medicine, social care, nursing and Allied Health Professional representatives. It covers the geographical areas of North Down, Ards, Down and part of Castlereagh Borough and District Councils. Currently, the East LCG is operating in shadow form, working with the Eastern Health and Social Services Board to commission health and social care.
