Description:
The South Local Commissioning Group (LCG) is one of seven LCGs in Northern Ireland. LCGs were established in April 2007 to commission health and social care services for their population (currently in excess of 280,000 in the South LCG area). The membership of the LCG comprises four general medical practitioners, an optician, a pharmacist, a dentist, two lay representatives and a range of professional commissioning staff.
