Western Investing for Health (WIFH) is the body charged by Government with advancing the IFH public health strategy in the Western Health and Social Services Board area. The Partnership brings together 29 different organisations which can all make a contribution to achieving healthier, happier longer lives for all people in the Western Board area. The Partnership aims to:
• improve the health of our people – Northern Ireland has one of the highest rates of ill health in Europe;
• reduce inequalities in health between geographic areas, social and minority groups.
